wow... since february even.

same old crap night after night. joy.
getting harder to deal with but so far haven't gone out and bought camo and looked for likely rooftops.
have had a few good nights, but they're getting harder to come by.
when someone in charge tells you that " if they are the problem, then they will go so that the busines will go on", you just have to take it with a grain of salt, 'cause as you know the boss is always right...

concerts have been fewer - had Stoney Laroux Band in a couple months ago and most of the crowd walked out before they were done. Kevin Fowler still pulling in decent. Eli Young Band did good people-wise and they'll be back in january. not sure how the next year is gonna go, i just hope its better than this one.

but not gonna hold my breath.

win some, lose some

okay, so we had a damn near perfect friday again, good crowd, everyone in mood to dance and have a good time, and very little drama. counts as a win right?

and then along comes saturday...

they couldn't make up their minds what they wanted to dance to, including or even especially to their requests. even the dance sets were hit and miss with them too.

then after 130 it was just...harsh. couldnt hold them for nothing and the after party was a disaster - play a request - empty the floor. i'm gonna delete the damn song when i get back to work! after the first song it was like pulling teeth to get or keep anyone on the floor or even in the building.
glad we made out money before 2 ya know?

oh well. we learn from our mistakes right? or at least that's the theory.

work, work, work....

yeah i suck at keeping this updated, but we had a 4 day weekend and i ended up with the same emotional rollercoaster ride as on a regular weekend. but it wasnt a total loss....
